Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, Fla.) win its 21 straight game, continued its quest for an unbeaten season with a 4-3 win over Wellington in a showdown of Florida powers and remained No. 1 in this week's MaxPreps Top 25 Softball Rankings.
The Mustangs look to close the regular season unblemished this week with a trio of team they've already beaten.
Top-ranked for much of the season, 26-1 Norco (Calif.) — now No. 2 in the land — also closes out its regular season hosting Corona, a team it defeated 13-1 three weeks ago.

Foothill (Pleasanton, Calif.), Cedar Ridge (Round Rock Texas), Winter Springs (Fla.), White Knoll (Lexington, S.C.) and Male (Louisville, Ky.) are other Top 10 teams with goals of finishing 2019 unscathed.
And not to be overlooked, five other Top 25 teams have yet to lose in 2019.
Klein Collins (Spring, Texas) was the biggest mover of the week, winning its 16th-straight win — 6-5 — over No. 25 Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu) and jumping into the rankings at No. 12.
Also new to the Top 25 this week are unbeatens Redmond (Wash.), Keystone (LaGrange, Ill.), Halletsville (Texas) and Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, N.J.).
Two teams that had combined to win 107-straight games lost last week – Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS) saw its 64-game winning streak snapped and Tualatin (OR) lost for the first time in 44 games. Neshoba Central dropped to No. 15 and Tualatin fell out of the Top 25.

Plant City (Fla.) struck out 32 in a 13-inning
no-hitter earlier this season, struck out 16 in a one-hit, 3-0 win over
Bloomingdale (Varico) and tossed a one-hitter with 19 strikeouts in
a 1-0 win over East Bay (Gibsonton). She leads the nation with an
0.18 ERA and is averaging 2.4 strikeouts per inning. Blessin has signed
with Marshall.
Game of the Week: Tiny Trenton (Fla.), a 1A school,
knocked 8A Oakleaf (Orange Park) out of the Top 25 with a convincing 8-3 win one day
after Oakleaf captured the prestigious Kissimmee Klassic title for the
third year in a row. Trenton, with 680 students in grades 6-12, is 19-0
on this season. Oakleaf has 2,350 students in grades 9-12 and is 18-3.
Game to Watch: Moses Lake (Wash.) hosts Lake City (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) in a battle of unbeatens. Both teams are hitting .414.
Tournament
of the Week: The Louisiana State D3 tournament with 33-0 Notre Dame
(Crowley) facing 18-8 (Reserve) in the semifinals on Friday. Notre Dame,
