MANILA – The horror-thriller “Eerie” starring Bea Alonzo and Charo Santos-Concio has earned P40 million in four days, producer Star Cinema announced on Sunday.

Set in the 1990s, the film centers on a clairvoyant counselor (Bea Alonzo) who investigates a student’s death.

The student, at least based on the trailer, appears to have taken her own life, with her ghost lingering in the halls of the school.

The film, which also stars Jake Cuenca and Maxene Magalona, opened in cinemas on March 27.
