Here are the prep stars of the night for Saturday, March 23:
Faith Ayodeji, Lake Stevens girls track and field
Ayodeji, a junior, won the shot put event at the 33rd Curtis Viking Relay Championships with a personal-best thrwo of 37 feet, 11.5 inches.
Brandon McClean, Cedar Park Christian baseball
McClean, a senior, picked up a victory on the mound with four innings no-hit innings, allowing no runs while fanning six batters and walking two in the Eagles’ 14-4 win over Lynden Christian. McClean 3-for-4 at the plate with a double, a triple, an RBI and three runs scored.
Brandon King, Archbishop Murphy basbeall
King, a senior, went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in the Wildcats’ 9-1 victory over Squalicum.
Daylin Pierce, Arlington boys track and field
Pierce, a senior, won the 100 meters at the Chuck Randall Relays with a time of 11.52 seconds. Pierce also helped the Eagles’ 4×100 relay team to a first-place finish.
Aviry Stratton, Glacier Peak girls track and field
Stratton, a junior, won the 1600 meters at the Chuck Randall Relays, posting a time of 5 minutes, 12.85 seconds.
Jack Rimstad, Marysville Getchell boys soccer
Rimstad, a junior, netted a pair of goals to help the Chargers’ to their first win of the season with a 4-0 victory over Oak Harbor
