Those worried about Kentucky struggling with PJ Washington off the floor can rest easy, as the Wildcats are currently up 39-13 at halftime against No. 15 seed Abilene Christian. At the half, Kentucky guard Tyler Herro is tied for first among scorers with 12 points (6-7 shooting) and four rebounds. In Washington's absence, senior forward Reid Travis was also tied for first on the team with 12 points (6-7 shooting) and four rebounds in 13 minutes of action. Freshman forward Keldon Johnson also added ten points (4-7 shooting and 1-1 from three) and two rebounds. EJ Montgomery also finished with three points and six rebounds in the first half, followed by Ashton Hagans with two. As a team, the Wildcats are shooting 60 percent from the field and are allowing ACU to shoot just 19 percent at the break. Here is the entire boxscore:
