JHA elects a new Chair

jeremy swetenham_JHAThe Jersey Hospitality Association has elected Jeremy Swetenham as its new Chair at its recent AGM.

Jeremy takes over from outgoing president Fiona Kerley, who will remain on the JHA board. He will be joined by new Vice Chairs Martina McGibney and Stef Stevens, who take over from Marcus Calvani and Natalie Duffy.

Jeremy has broad experience of the hospitality sector, having spent seven years as Commercial Director at Jersey Heritage and seven as Chairman of the Branchage International Film Festival.

“I am taking on this role at a time when the association has made great strides in developing a positive reputation among its members and the community,” he said.

“Our goal is to provide a voice for all those who join the association. We've got off to a fantastic start to 2019, working with the Government of Jersey to ease our recruitment challenges."

The JHA brings together 200 members representing a broad spectrum of businesses with an input into hospitality.
