In 2019, Sephora has really been upping its effort to give shoppers a more valuable experience. First, the wildly popular beauty boutique announced changes to the Beauty Insider program that expanded benefits at all three levels: Insider, VIB, and Rouge. Then the announcement was made that customers can now use multiple promo codes when shopping online. And in a few weeks, the most dedicated beauty lovers will have a new way to get rewarded for shopping at their favorite store: Sephora credit cards.

According to a press release, a Sephora Credit Card, Sephora Visa Credit Card, and Sephora Visa Signature Credit Card will be available this spring, promising benefits on top of any Beauty Insider perks you may already enjoy. "The Sephora Credit Card was the natural next step in our loyalty journey, truly adding even more value that our clients can use not only within our stores, but also in their day-to-day lives," Andrea Zaretsky, Sephora’s senior vice president of customer relations management and loyalty, said in a statement. "The launch of the Sephora Credit Card exemplifies Sephora’s loyalty philosophy in every sense; it considers all the most-loved aspects of Sephora — the amazing product, services, experiences, and personalization — taking our client experience to the next level through special access, rewards, and perks."

Although it's not yet clear what they will be, the brand says cardholders will earn rewards in addition to rewards from the Beauty Insider Program. And if, for some strange reason, you're not already a Beauty Insider member, obtaining a Sephora Credit Card will automatically enroll you. Futhermore, those who elect the Sephora Visa Signature Credit Card will have access to what's known as Visa Signature Benefits, which have nothing to do with Sephora, but seem pretty sweet nonetheless.

If you already use another credit card at Sephora all the time and there's space in your wallet — and budget — for a new credit card, it may make sense for you to look into these new Sephora credit cards. According to the press release, they will be available initially in select markets and then roll out to all U.S. stores and sephora.com in the coming months.
