The Canberra Raiders head down to Bega today as they prepare to face the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Bega Recreation Ground at 5pm.

Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has already announced that he will be fielding a strong Raiders side in what will be their final pre-season hit out before the start of the 2019 season.

On Wednesday morning the 20th February the Raiders will be training at Pambula recreation ground at 9am. This is an open training session and fans are encouraged to come along and watch the team train as well as meet the players. Come on down, grab some signatures and pose for a photo with the players.

The following day the playing group will spend time at the Country Cup High School Gala Day which will take place at Pambula Beach Oval, where they will mingle with local kids and watch some of the local junior talent on display.

Damian Kennedy from NRL Development said it’s exciting to have the Raiders join the day and said the participants would have the chance to get up close and personal with some genuine NRL stars.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for the local kids to have NRL players watch them while they are playing,” said Kennedy. “We’ll be engaging the players on the day to help out with the teams and promote the game in this area which will be a real thrill for all involved.”

On Friday morning 22nd February the squad will hold their Captain's Run session at Bega Recreation Ground. This will also be an open training session so come on down and watch the team train in what will be their final hit out before the match.

Fans have until Thursday to source their tickets from selling outlets at the pre-purchase price $15, then on Saturday from 9am-11am tickets will be available at Repco Bega (which is over the road from Bega Recreation Ground) for this discount price.
