Only half? Are the other half Muslims?
Nearly half of French and Germans say Islam ‘clashes with their values’, along with more than a third of Americans and Britons, poll finds
- Around half of French and Germans polled in the survey also said they would ‘mind a little’ or ‘mind a lot’ if one of their close relatives were to marry a Muslim
- However barely a quarter said they were familiar with the teachings of Islam
- In Britain only 13 per cent expressed a ‘favourable’ view of the Islamic religion

Almost half of people in France and Germany believe there is a fundamental clash between Islam and the values of their society, a poll has found.Around one in two French and Germans also said they would ‘mind a little’ or ‘mind a lot’ if one of their close relatives were to marry a Muslim.
Story continues below advertisementHowever, barely a quarter of people in either France or Germany said they were familiar with the teachings of Islam.
The YouGov survey also polled Britons and Americans with only 13 per cent of people in the UK saying they had a ‘favourable’ view of Islam.
The poll also indicated that more than a quarter of people in Britain and Germany do not personally know any Muslims.
In the survey of more than 1,000 voters in each country, people were asked if Islam was ‘generally compatible with the values of society in your country’ or whether there was a ‘fundamental clash’ between them.
In Germany some 47 per cent chose ‘fundamental clash’, along with 46 per cent in France, 38 per cent in Britain and 36 per cent in the United States.
Only 20 per cent of Germans and 22 per cent of French respondents said Islam was ‘generally compatible’.
YouGov’s Joel Rogers de Waal said: ‘Substantial portions of Western respondents in the survey perceived a clash between Islam and the values of society in their country.
‘General impressions of Islam were comparatively less favourable than that of other world religions among significant numbers of Western respondents.
‘For instance, all four Western samples had a discernibly higher number of respondents who felt unfavourable to Islam, compared with other religions.’
In Germany eight per cent said they had a ‘very favourable’ or ‘fairly favourable’ view of Islam, compared to 53 per cent who had an unfavourable opinion.

The numbers were similar in France where 10 per cent expressed a favourable view of Islam, with 49 per cent unfavourable.
For comparison, Christianity was seen favourably in Germany by 41 per cent to 16 per cent and in France by 35 per cent to 15 per cent, with many expressing no opinion.
Some 59 per cent in France and 63 per cent in Germany told the pollster they were either ‘not very familiar’ or ‘not at all familiar’ with Islamic teaching.
An equal number, 72 per cent in each country, said they were either ‘very concerned’ or ‘fairly concerned’ about the ‘possible rise of extremism’ in Islam.
Asked about their relatives marrying a Muslim, the largest single group in each country – including Britain and the U.S. – said they would not mind.
However 48 per cent of people in Germany and 47 per cent in France said they would either ‘mind a lot’ or ‘mind a little’, along with 33 per cent in the United States and 27 per cent in Britain.
When asked whether they personally knew a Muslim, 41 per cent of Americans said they did not, compared to 27 per cent in Britain, 26 per cent in Germany and 17 per cent in France.

French Police Caught on Tape Saying to ‘Shoot’ Yellow Vests

The footage comes from the Yellow Vest protest on Saturday, January 12th, where protesters and hooligans clashed with police for nearly 16 hours and was recorded at the police command room where officers were watching the scenes of violence unfold on several monitors, broadcaster France 3 reports.
Several officers are heard in the recording including both female and male officers with one male officer saying, “The fu*kers! There’s one on the ground there,” and another commenting,
“What a bunch of bastards!”
A female officer is then heard saying, “we have to shoot!” to which another male officer replies,
“When I tell you to, line up two or three rounds.”
While the video was recorded on January 12th, it was not released until January 31st by the Vigi police union which commented on the audio saying “the words of the policemen have exceeded their thoughts,” and that the officers reacted out of surprise and shock at the video feed they were watching.

The Haute-Garonne prefecture released a statement announcing an investigation saying, “This scene of rare violence provoked the emotion of people watching these images live, resulting in spontaneous comments.”

French doctors have also spoken out about the injuries suffered by Yellow Vest protesters saying that the number of serious injuries, which have included several losing eyes and hands, has been unprecedented.
The theme of police brutality and violence was highlighted in the most recent “Act XII” protest with Yellow Vests denouncing police tactics.

Notice also that Senator McConnell timed his rebuke against President Trump to take place just prior to the State of the Union address. In addition to demanding perpetual war (and all the financial benefits therein), the republican vote is a signal to the republican President that he will not be allowed to defy the will of the Big Club.

With this vote McConnell is warning President Trump he has enough votes to support the Pelosi/Schumer impeachment agenda; if needed.

The moment the “Notorious RBG” kicks the bucket, or – possibly – is acknowledged as having already kicked the bucket the Left in the House will act on impeachment charges. They’ll pass.
It will go to the Senate where crapweasel McConnell has, apparently, signaled the Senate would convict.
It doesn’t matter if the charges actually rise to the level of impeachment, or the case is strong enough. The DS wants Trump gone – and more importantly, to send a message that any challenger to its power will be gone.

Recently I was In Cologne in Germany. The place is over-run with a heavy police presence in the main shopping areas and the plaza outside and near the Dom (Cathedral). In the main train station there were also many DB (railway) security staff. Heavily muzzled Alasation dogs were also there. I talked to many German friends and they told me that it was now illegal to discuss M’Slimes and Frau Merkel’s uncontolled immigration of fake refugees. But they do so – in private. Any survey like YouGov is going to report only those who are brave enough to opine their dislike of what is happening. The silent majority of dissent will not be silent for much longer – God willing.

Marrying a Muslim and becoming a Muslim is in the vast majority of cases the same thing. The question was not put meaningfully. Usually a marriage where the couple is religiously at odds does not fare well. The woman is usually pressured to become observant. In the case of a man marrying a Muslim woman conversion is required by Islamic law!

….it just proves that many of these polls are cleverly worded to the point you pretty much have to answer the way they direct you to answer….I found that out when I took some Fox News polls. The questions forced me to answer the way they wanted the poll to come out.
…ergo the totally erroneous polls that had Killary winning right up to the day of the election….
The only poll that accurately predicted President Trump’s win was that of Stony Brook Professor Helmet Norpoth….He has developed computer algorithms over the years that predict elections. He said Trump would win by a 94-95 % accuracy in that prediction. He was right.
While at the same time Silver, Rasmussen, and many others were saying Killary would win. Ergo….the complete shock and melt down of the Left when she lost.
Have we learned anything yet? Apparently not…because people are still citing and quoting polls that are skewed to make people think they are defeated before they ever begin….which is the whole point of the corrupt polls…to make people give up and not participate.

I see all these alleged polls….in my entire 7 decades I have never been approached for one of these polls….I am a registered voter, auto owner, and visible on the internet.
We learned in the last election about all the fake polls….I suspect this number would be much higher if these polls were given out to conservatives and seniors…..
On the other hand, if these polls are saying more than a third of Americans say their country is being negatively impacted by Muslims….image what the number would be if a larger demographic of Americans were polled…..

I think one important thing this poll indicates is that considerably more people need to be educated on the dangers of Islam to civilization. Like about 50% to 67% more people. Of the one’s who claim they have a favorable view of Islam, they must have many misconceptions about it, or support evil thinking it good. The Koran and related texts are pure evil. Mostly lies mixed in with a small amount of truth. Who does that sound like?
