Tuttosport have taken a look at the current situation of Inter trio Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi, all of whom have struggled for form lately.
Almost nothing has worked for Nainggolan since his Summer arrival in Milan from Roma. He has failed to live up to expectations on the pitch, has been troubled by various injuries and has not been far from multiple off-field controversies either. It is a new year however and time for him turn things round. Over the winter break he was hard at work and played half an hour against Sassuolo. His recovery will be complete when he starts in a match again that will be either this weekend’s match with Torino or the match with Lazio in the Coppa Italia.
When Perisic plays like everyone knows he can, he can be a real difference maker. He showed his qualities at the World Cup last Summer but has failed to do so consistently this season.
As for Icardi, Tuttosport believe that the constant talk surrounding a renewal for him at Inter could well have affected his performances on the pitch as of late.
