Harry Kane: Tottenham not under pressure to sign replacement - Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham are not under "pressure" to sign a new forward this month despite captain Harry Kane being injured, says manager Mauricio Pochettino.
England skipper Kane is not due to return to training until March after damaging ankle ligaments.
Pochettino acknowledged the 25-year-old's absence will affect Spurs' performances.
But the Argentine added: "I think it's not going to change our mind about the view of the squad."
Spurs, third in the Premier League table and nine points behind leaders Liverpool, are still competing on four fronts as they prepare for Sunday's match at Fulham (16:00 GMT).
They will take a 1-0 lead to Chelsea in their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg, and then meet Crystal Palace in the FA Cup fourth round before facing Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last 16.

Asked on Friday whether he was under pressure to find a replacement for Kane, Pochettino said: "When he is one of the best strikers in Europe, it is going to affect performances.
"Always we're open to improving our squad, to adding players that can improve us. But I think that's not going to put pressure on us to sign some players.
"We know very well the market now is so difficult, and the circumstance that we have. Of course, like always I tell you, if we identify the player that is going to help us and can add qualities that we don't have in the squad, we're more than open to trying [to make] that happen.
"But at the moment I think there's not too many possibilities to add this type of player that can improve us."

Crystal Palace opening their stadium for the homeless to sleep over the freezing period. Genuinely hats off to that club for doing something like that and much respect.
Banter hat off, I wish mine and all clubs would do the same. All this money in our clubs and people in that situation.
THANK YOU CPFC!!!!!
Whoever signs would be on the bench when Kane is fit again.
Llorente will start and what a side for a youngster like Parrott or Sterling to come into.Whoever plays will get chances to score. Someone may just grab their chance. If you are good enough you are old enough.
Question is how many of his teammates goals will he claim while out? Do he look at it?did he breath on it? Did he touch it? Can he claim it? Yes he Kane !
Wow how original. I take it you're a straight up missionary guy
More half witted ramblings. You live in the past. Forget the last two seasons, if you like. Look at the table today. Then look at the upcoming Champions League games. The League Cup? Out of that too. beaten at home by a team you always try to put down.
Look in the mirror. You will see a sad face that spouts rubbish about Spurs at every opportunity.
"...they will not get a new player until 2030 and that will be a loan deal."
Well it's now 19:10, so Spurs have another 80 minutes to get in a player.
