Watch Sam Elliott in the trailer for The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot

Since WWII, Calvin Barr has lived with the secret that he was responsible for the assassination of Adolf Hitler. Now, decades later, the US government has called on him again for a new top-secret mission.

Bigfoot has been living deep in the Canadian wilderness and carrying a deadly plague that is now threatening to spread to the general population. Relying on the same skills that he honed during the war, Calvin must set out to save the free world yet again.

This feature debut from writer/director Robert D. Krzykowski features visual effects by celebrated two-time Academy Award Winner Douglas Trumbull (2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner), who also co-produced alongside the great John Sayles (Lone Star, The Brother from Another Planet, Eight Men Out) and Lucky McKee (The Woman). A fantastical discourse on the melancholia of old age and a singular blast of entertaining wit, THE MAN WHO KILLED HITLER AND THEN THE BIGFOOT stars Sam Elliott (The Big Lebowski),  Aidan Turner (Poldark, Being Human, The Hobbit), Caitlin FitzGerald (Showtime’s “Masters of Sex”), and Ron Livingston (Office Space).

Alan saw the film at last year’s FrightFest and said “it’s an absolute American classic about heroism, decency, love and sacrifice – with a mythic performance from Sam Elliot that should land him an Oscar – and a film that you should see as soon as your humanly able.”

The film is out in the US on 8th February 2019.
