EY has appointed Mark Le Page as an Advisory Director based in its Guernsey office.
Mark joins EY after more than 16 years at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC), four of which he spent as Deputy Director for the Investment sector, and latterly the Investment and Fiduciary sectors.
During this time, Mark was responsible for divisional and policy initiatives, including the launch of the Private Investment Fund and Manager Led Product.
In his new role, Mark will initially provide consultative advice on existing regulatory risk health check and remediation projects.
He brings to EY his experience at the GFSC in fintech, peer-to-peer lending, crowd funding, cryptocurrency funds and distributed ledger technology, which he will use to support the firm's AI and regtech offerings in the Channel Islands.
Mark will also continue to contribute to the local financial services industry through his association and industry roles, in particular with the Tax Compliance Industry Working Group and Guernsey Finance’s Fund Strategy Group.
