KC amusement park changes name of ride ahead of AFC Championship
A Kansas City amusement park has changed the name of one of its rides ahead of the AFC Championship Game.
Worlds of Fun, an amusement park located in Kansas City, Mo., has an inverted roller coaster called “The Patriot.” They showed that they had changed the ride’s name from Patriot to “Patrick,” replacing the last two letters and adding a Chiefs logo.
To stand in solidarity with @Chiefs during this weekend's AFC Championship game, the roller coaster known as The Patriot has been temporarily renamed The Patrick. #ChiefsKingdom #LetsRoll pic.twitter.com/MAHcS42S4y

Well done, Worlds of Fun. No way they could have that name in their park with the Chiefs set to host New England on Sunday. And when all it takes is a two-letter switch to support the team’s star quarterback, it was too easy.
We saw something similar happen during the World Series; this sort of thing never gets old.
