SaSo Strategic Advisers has appointed John Pallot as Compliance Officer.
John has been working within the Jersey finance industry for more than 30 years. From 1989 to 2007, he held various directorships at the Jersey Financial Services Commission, including Director of the Financial Services Business Division, which implemented and administered the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998.
Later, John led the Compliance Division, which was responsible for the ongoing regulation of all authorised businesses under the various regulatory laws.
John also represented Jersey on a number of international bodies, including subcommittees of IOSCO.
Since 2007, John has held a number of senior compliance posts within the private sector.
