New Song: Lauren Jauregui – ‘More Than That’

Published: Friday 11th Jan 2019 by Sam

Lauren Jauregui
has shared the second chapter of her solo journey – ‘More Than That.’

The hypnotic song is the latest taste of singular material from the soulful Fifth Harmony star, who has fast emerged as one of 2019’s most exciting prospects.

Debut offering ‘Expectations’ saw Jauregui express her artistic positioning and its follow-up builds on that solid foundation.

Take a listen below…

Moody, mature, magnetic, ‘More Than That’ cements Lauren’s sound; one which fuses the Urban influence found in latter-day 5H with the stripped back “less is more” approach to production that defines the contemporary climate.

At less than 3 minutes, its short runtime does grate some, but even that arguably works to its favor radio-wise.

Put simply, Lauren has once again delivered. Here’s hoping this receives a sizeable push.

It seems to me that NORMANI can’t carry a song on her own, don’t get me wrong she’s Talented on many aspects but vocally homegirls needs help.. and every time she sings lives she sings flat out.. she was 6 years in a group and she still can’t get it right vocally..

Her and Normani aren’t playing games, but Normani is definitely being propped to be the next big thing. I do love Lauren too. Still worried for Dinah and especially Ally.

I mean I like her tone but at the same time sometimes it just sounds too raw … like she needs to clear her throat . I mean I get it … they dig the raspiness of her voice .. but sometimes a cleaner cut just sounds better on the record . Save all the raspy raw
Ish for the live performance .
