Cristiano Ronaldo has finally put the house he bought when he played for Manchester United on the market.

He bought the five bedroom home for £3.85 million in 2006 and it is now on the market for £3.25 million.

The property, boasts an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym, and cinema room.

Situated in the footballers’ enclave of Alderley Edge in Cheshire the three storey home the master suited also includes ‘his&hers’ dressing rooms.

The new owner may be keen to alter at least one feature - Ronaldo had metal bars fitted in one of the windows spelling out CR7, his number.

The estate agents selling the house say: ‘Excellent location for Alderley Edge village centre, where you will find a fantastic range of shopping boutique’s, restaurants and bars’.

The Portugese player first tried to sell the house back in 2009 after his switch to Real Madrid, but ended up renting the property. At one time it was occupied by Manchester United defender Luke Shaw.
