Want to freshen up outdoor furniture without spending a lot of money?

Add a coat of paint!

Start by placing the furniture on a drop cloth out in the yard, away from the house. Sand off any rough edges or peeling paint.

Wipe down and blow off the sanded parts of the furniture, making sure there’s no residue left over. Fix any damaged areas before you start painting.

Start with your furniture upside down. Using a good-quality spray paint, spray in continuous, even strokes. Keep spraying past the edges so it doesn’t clump on the ends.

Once you’ve got the bottom sides coated, turn the furniture over and start spraying the other side.
