Inter earned just shy of €22.5 million from their participation in the Champions League group stages this season according to a report from Calcio e Finanza.

The Nerazzurri got a €15.25 million fee for participation alone, their two victories earned them €5.4 million while the two draws earned them a further €1.8 million worth a combined total of €22.45 million.

Calcio e Finanza charted the top 10 and the team at the very top will perhaps come as a bit of surprise. Portuguese giants Porto earned a whopping €39.15 million.

They, like Inter, got a €15.25 millilon participation fee, €13.5 million as a result of their five victories, €900,000 for their draw and an additional €9.5 million for securing qualification in to the next round of the competition.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich are next in line with €37.35 million, Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City are next with €36.45 million. Real Madrid, Juventus and Ajax gained €35.55 million while Paris St Germain close out the top 10 with €34.65 million.
