Sketch Of Violent Robber Released By Norristown Police

Do you recognize this man? Police believe he's behind a string of violent incidents in Norristown over the past few weeks.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Police released a sketch on Wednesday of the suspect behind a string of recent violent robberies in the area.

The suspect is a black male with a light to medium complexion, according to authorities. He stands about 5 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, and has a medium to heavy build.

Five incidents have occurred all told. In each case, the victim was a woman who was grabbed from behind and robbed by the male suspect, according to authorities.

The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and either jeans or sweatpants, police said. He may have hair.

Although no victims have suffered serious physical injuries, police believe the suspect may escalate his behavior if he is not caught soon.
