Girls’ hockey players to watch in 2018-19

Delaney Couture, Shrewsbury — The Colonials’ captain and Providence commit is fresh off a 63-point junior season and a trip to the Division 1 quarterfinals.

Aylah Cioffi, Austin Prep — The freshman transferred from St. Mary’s and already has had two dazzling seasons at the varsity level.

Erin Fleming, Wellesley — Pitching in 18 assists from the blue line, the Bay State Conference All-Star returns for her junior season looking for a second consecutive state championship.

Carolyn Curley, Methuen/Tewksbury — Curley enters her senior year as a team captain for the Red Rangers co-op on the back of scoring her 100th career point a year ago for the Division 1 runner-up.

Kat Keith, Westwood — The reigning Tri-Valley League MVP returns as team captain for her senior season after a 22-22—44 junior year.

Allison Delmonte, Archbishop Williams — Delmonte had a .950 save percentage with 10 shutouts last year, helping Archbishop Williams reach the Division 2 semifinals.

Mady Hentosh, St. Mary’s — Fresh off a 21-point junior season, Hentosh will anchor the Spartans’ defense this year.

Molly Elmore, Masconomet — Elmore posted a .946 save percentage last season, leading the Chieftains to the Division 1 semifinals.

Maggie Malloy, Canton — The senior had 14 goals and 13 assists to lead the Bulldogs last year.

Sammie Mirasolo, Peabody/Lynnfield — Elected tri-captain for her junior year, Mirasolo had 26 goals and 15 assist for the Tanners co-op last season.
