Free entry for Margate Winter Festival (rescheduled)

South Floridians enjoy a taste of the frosty season with Winter Festivals, including some with snow.

Margate Winter Festival in 2023 is 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. December 15 Tuesday, December 19, with free entry. Snow slides and snow piles are featured.

The  festival includes:

• snow, Florida style
• photo ops with Santa
• performances
• rides for youngsters
• food vendors
• craft fair

Event venue is the  fairground on  Margate Boulevard and State Road 7.  Parking is free.
