Results from Around the State
Congratulations to Oakleigh members Alexander Grutteria and Joel Macpherson for both taking home black plates at the Victorian State Cup in Mildura in the TaG 125 Restricted Light and KA3 Senior Light classes respectively.Congratulations also to Kobi Williams for wrapping up the KA3 Junior championship at the Victorian Country Series.

CIK Starting Grid
From the start of the 2019 season it is mandatory for all tracks to use the CIK starting grids. Some tracks implemented these starting grids in 2018 so you might be familiar with them but if not please make sure you read the rulebook to understand how they work.As part of putting in the new grid we will also be moving the start line around to where the finish line is, we will need the help of an electrician to move the start lights and also a line marker to paint the new grid.If you or someone you know can help us with this sometime over the Christmas/New Year period please email president@ogkrc.com.au.

Metro Series
Oakleigh and Geelong have teamed up to run a two round Metro Series next year. The series will use Geelong’s Val Findlay Memorial open meeting and our Kingston Cup open. Both meetings will be one day events on the Sunday with the tracks open all day Saturday for practice. There will be some great series prizes on offer so we hope you all get behind it and help make it a huge success.Metro Series Round 1 – Val Findlay Memorial: March 3rdMetro Series Round 2 – Kingston Cup: May 12th
