Sipitang: The Human Resource Development Department will be increasing more programmes to enhance the number of skilled youths.Its Director, Zainuddin Aman, said that youths who have completed their SPM are invited to participate in their programmes so as to learn a new skill. He said that if they are equipped with skills and knowledge, they could start small businesses or have better chances of acquiring job."The government through the Human Resource Development Department will be adding more programmes either short or long term in order to improve the standards of our youths," he said.

"The department is currently working on at least 88 short term courses throughout Sabah and we hope the youths will take this opportunity to participate in it," he said at the closing of a short term course, here, recently.
