Does anyone run 16 inch wheels on the back and 15 inch wheels in the front on their Plus 4? That way you would get the large diameter in the back for lower rpms at freeway speeds and then the faster wearing front tires would be a lot cheaper. It seems like it might work well, but maybe not. Has it been tried?
Running four 16 inch tires is expensive.
I wonder how noticeable it would be.

A found this photo online of a Flat Rad in competition. Looks like it has 16 inch in back and 15 inch in front. Also, it has wire wheels which are available in 16 inch sizes for Jags. Interesting.

This might also be an answer for Los Angeles California roads with hundreds of dips which scrapes the tip of the exhaust every time regardless of how slow one tackles the dip. We don't have those in England where the car was made and consequently a total strange anomaly to us Brits living with a Morgan in the USA.
I would like to know the answer too....Has it been tried?

I am always OK............. the trouble is with the others :-)

That looks like John Miller's 1951 Plus 4 race car. I'm sure you can get your question to him via Derek Willburn.
