For several years now, neighbors around the Cascades Marketplace have wondered what was going to become of the old Logan’s Roadhouse restaurant building, tucked away behind the center. Now we know — it will be opening soon as Once Upon a Dream, an indoor play center for ages nine months to nine years.
A castle, a pirate ship and more will likely await children and there will be free play, guided play, birthday parties, camps and more. There’s a small cafe on site serving healthy snacks and even coffee drinks for parents to enjoy while there kids play. Target opening is January 2019.
It will be the second location for Once Upon a Dream. A center in Vienna has been open for almost two years now.
The owners are also planning on using a separate portion of the former Logan’s Roadhouse building as a new restaurant — but details of that project are under wraps for now.
