FOUR SISTERS SNACK BAR HOLDS SOFT OPENING

The new Vietnamese restaurant offers banh mi, rice bowls and more.

Passers-by in the Shops at Ryan Park shopping center in Ashburn (at the Greenway and Ashburn Village Boulevard) may notice a bunch of balloons tied to a bench in front of the new Four Sisters Asian Snack Bar. That’s the subtle sign that the new fast-casual restaurant has quietly opened for business.

It’s important to stress — this is a soft opening. That means they are still training the staff, making sure all the equipment works properly and so forth. For the next couple of weeks, Four Sisters will have limited hours and a limited menu. Look for a grand opening likely in early December.

The menu at Four Sisters Asian Snack Bar includes rice and noodle bowls, banh mi sandwiches, pork spring rolls, Spam musubi and boba tea. The restaurant has a few tables but is primarily carry out at the moment. There are also several shelves filled with packaged Asian snack foods.

Four Sisters has a rich heritage in Northern Virginia. The original Four Sisters Vietnamese Restaurant was founded in Falls Church back in 1993. Then a family member opened the Four Sisters Grill in 2014 in Clarendon. Now, another member of the family has opened a similar concept here in Ashburn.

the strawberry boba smoothie was horrible. I’m shocked since I love four sisters in mosaic. Hopefully they improve their smoothie recipes. The liquid separated from the fruit flavor (?) and the bobas were disgusting.

    BE CAREFUL!!! watch your bill.

Last Wednesday I had a take out so I didn’t leave a tip. The charge shows up on my bank account and I see they tipped themselves 25%. What right do they have to do that? Is that FRAUD?
