Lush Is Dropping a "Goddess" Bath Bomb Inspired by Ariana Grande

The $9 bath bomb was created after the "God Is a Woman" music video debuted in July.

We're just going to say it: Everyone wants to be Ariana Grande right now. Take, for example, the singer's success with her latest single, "thank u, next," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Or the fact that her chic, new haircut is bound to inspire others to make an appointment to get the same style. What we're trying to say is, it's not all that surprising people want to recreate everything she does. Lush Cosmetics knows this — and ran with it.

When Grande's "God Is a Woman" music video was released earlier this year, fans everywhere flocked to Twitter to ask the powers that be at Lush to recreate the milky galaxy-colored bathwater from the video in the form of a bath bomb form.

Jack Constantine, the brand's chief development officer and product inventor, teased a little prototype of the potential bath bomb shortly after the music video debuted in July, and fans have eagerly been awaiting its official release since then.

Well, the wait is finally over. This Thursday, November 22, we can all give thanks for the newest addition to the Lush bath bomb family: Goddess. Formulated to empower folks and help them recharge after a long day of being a boss, and inspired by the lavender and silver hues in Grande's "God Is a Woman" music video, the bath bomb bleeds white, pink, silver, and purple when released into bathwater.

The bomb's main scents are oud and sandalwood, which offer warmer, musky notes for a truly relaxing experience, while jasmine, osmanthus, and rose oil give the concoction a more floral touch. For luxuriously silky smooth skin, the bath bomb contains a trio of moisturizers: fair trade organic cocoa butter, shea butter, and argan oil. The argan oil and shea butter are ethically sourced from women's collectives in Morocco and Ghana, respectively.

Goddess is vegan, and like all other Lush products, is also cruelty-free. It will be sold for $9 in North America in stores and on lushusa.com beginning November 22, just in time for some Black Friday shopping. Bless.
