BERLIN - No one was hurt but a home was damaged after a car crashed into the structure early Sunday morning.
When Berlin police, fire and EMS responded around 2:50 a.m. to the scene on Tansboro Road, the driver was standing outside the vehicle and a passenger was still inside the car, which had flipped over. Officers removed the male passenger, who was uninjured.
The vehicle tore into the front of the home, knocking off siding and leaving a hole around a window. Authorities said no one was hurt inside the house.
The driver, Katie M. Walsh-Oakley of Berlin, was charged with DUI and other traffic offenses, and released.
