One flown to Columbus hospital after Saturday shooting

NEWARK - One person was flown to a Columbus hospital after being injured in a shooting Saturday evening.

According to Sgt. Robert Phillips, Newark police responded around 8:28 p.m. to the report of a shooting at 83 Riverview Drive.

Newark police will release additional details as they become available.
