EK, the company behind a number of popular custom water cooling blocks and components has started a modding event series called the EK Mod Pit. In this series two modders are the focus, with both giving the desired specifications to the other, such as case size, motherboard size, tubing type, and more. By focusing on just modders, the series intends to focus on the details and tricks both can reveal.

For this first series the modders are Alex Banks, or Maki Role, who has worked with Praetex design from the UK and Justin Olsen of Metallic Acid custom PCs of Sweden. It was earlier today the series started, livestreaming on Facebook and Instagram at 9:00 and 14:00 GMT, which converts to 3 AM and 8 AM CST, but there will be more as the modders have two more days in the EK warehouse to finish their projects. At the end there will be multiple short movies made covering the event.

EK is not the only company supporting this series, as InWin has supplied cases and PSUs, ASUS provided three Z390 motherboards for the modders to choose from, and G.Skill provided two packs of 32 GB TridentZ RGB RAM. The power tools being used have also been supplied by Makita and the cables have come from CableMod. You can follow the event through social media channels for EK and these partners.
