Dose of Colors' Brand-New Mickey Mouse Makeup Collection Is Already Selling Out

November marks 90 years since Mickey Mouse was introduced — can you even imagine a world where the little guy isn't a part of the pop-culture collection consciousness? And even though his look has evolved since his debut in Steamboat Willie, one thing remains true: Mickey Mouse is classic. So it makes perfect sense that all the shades making up the Dose of Colors Mickey Mouse collection, launched on Monday, are also classic.

The star of the collaboration, which Dose of Colors has hashtagged #DisneyandDoseofColors, is definitely the Mickey Palette + Highlighter. Underneath a lid featuring a winking Mickey Mouse, you'll find six eye shadows and a generous dose of a highlighter called Beyond Classic. The shadow shades have appropriately wholesome-sounding names: Let the Show Begin (gold shimmer), Hug Me: (matte light brown), Hooray (slate shimmer), Oh Boy! (matte mauve), M is for Mischief (matte brick red), and Ah Shucks! (matte eggplant). And speaking of "Ah Shucks!" — that's probably what you'll say when you hear that the $39 palette sold out on the very first day. (No word on if they plan to restock, but the palette's page does have "notify me when available" button, so there's hope.)

Luckily, the rest of the collection is still available, and it's just as fantastic. There are three satin lipsticks, all with a finish that falls somewhere between matte and creamy. The colors include Infinite, a deep blackberry; Forever, a cool, brown nude; and a shade named after the year we're celebrating, 1928, which is a peachy nude. Each one is $17.

Also $17 each are the lip glosses, which, like the lipsticks, are topped with a cap covered in gold Mickey Mouse silhouettes. They continue the neutral color story of the collection with a milky greige shade called Rockin' It (milky greige), a super-wearable cocoa called One and Only (hot cocoa), and Muah!, a clear base with copper and gold reflects that looks amazing over other colors.

Although there are numerous brands helping Disney celebrate, the Dose of Colors collaboration appears to be the only makeup collection dedicated to Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary — at least in the U.S. Maybelline launched a Mickey Mouse makeup collection with lipsticks and eye shadow palettes, too, but the brand tells us it's exclusive to China.
