Eagles' early game in London rewrites playbook for South Jersey bars

Sheri Berkery

The Eagles' Carson Wentz passed a ball early in an Oct. 7 game against the Vikings. The team will have a different kind of early start Sunday, playing a game in London that starts at 9:30 a.m. here.

Is 9:30 a.m. too early for a beer?

Those are the kinds of questions Eagles fans will wrestle with Sunday morning when the team plays the Jacksonville Jaguars at London's Wembley Stadium. It's the first time the Eagles are playing overseas during the regular season.

London time is five hours later, so pints will be no problem across the pond.

But South Jersey fans can find plenty of parties at local bars and restaurants — even if they kick off the day with coffee and bagels instead of beer and wings.
