Mansfield Senior quarterback Cameron Todd is up for Week 9 Football Player of the Week.

There were plenty of impressive performances in Week 9 of the high school football season. In all, there are seven football players looking for your votes.

They are:

» Lucas’ Logan Niswander had a rushing touchdown as well as two passing touchdowns for 38 and 26 yards in the Cubs’ 62-6 win over River on Saturday afternoon. He also had two interceptions and made 8-of-9 extra point kicks.

» Lexington’s Alex Green ran the ball just four times but went for 156 yards and two touchdowns of 41 and 65 yards in the Minutemen’s 42-16 win over Madison.

» Madison’s Miles Bond scored on runs of 80 and 60 yards in the Rams’ loss at Lexington on Friday.

» Mansfield Senior’s Cameron Todd was 11 of 18 passing for 189 yards including three touchdowns while also running the ball seven times for 49 yards and another score in the Tygers’ win over Mount Vernon.

» Clear Fork kicker Gabe Blauser drilled a 24-yard field goal to put the Colts ahead of Pleasant late in the fourth quarter ultimately providing the game-winning score to help the Colts remain undefeated.

» Galion’s Elias Middleton was 10-for-17 passing for 169 yards while carrying the ball 21 times for 176 yards and scored a combined six touchdowns in Galion’s win over Ontario.

» Crestview’s Brevin King ran for 140 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown while throwing for 92 yards and two scores in the Cougars’ win over South Central on Friday.

Voting ends at 7 p.m. on Friday.
