TRENTON - A Clementon man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman during a massage at a Mercer County spa.

Asmar Berry, 40, allegedly "touched the intimate parts of the victim without her consent" at Renewed Spa Massage in Pennington, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said Thursday.

The incident allegedly occurred in September at the business in the Shoppes at Pennington, a Route 31 shopping center.

A notice at the spa's website advises, "All services are for therapeutic purposes only. Please do not contact Renewed if you are seeking any kind of illegal/inappropriate sexual or erotic/sensual services."

A representative of Renewed Spa Massage could not be reached for comment Thursday.

Berry, described as a massage therapist, is charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact, the prosecutor's office said.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Prosecutor's Detective Karen Mendez at 609-989-6568.
