Video: Preseason Top 25 Basketball Rankings Breaking down the national contenders heading into the 2018-19 season.
Some of high school basketball's best will go head-to-head in December at the ARS/Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest in Maryland.
Keith Stevens of Team Takeover and event director Travis Haddock teamed to put together a loaded event, set for Dec. 7-9 at DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville.
Five of the top 11 teams in our preseason Top 25 will be featured in the first National Hoopfest event of 2018-19.
The ARS/Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest will put on four events throughout the season, moving on to Dallas, (Dec. 14-15),
Memphis, Tenn., (Jan. 4-5) and Tampa, Fla. (Feb. 1-2).
While the featured game of the four-part series will be No. 1
Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) vs. No. 2
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) at the Tampa event Feb. 2, the Maryland event will also feature a pair of showdowns between Top 10 foes.
