A white woman who was filmed blocking a black man from entering the St. Louis loft building where they live has denied that she is racist and says she was concerned for her safety.

THE REST OF THE STORY>>>>>> BOTTOM LINE IS THE BLACK GUY DID NOT HAVE HIS KEY FOB TO ALLOWED IN AND SHE CALLED HIM ON THIS. HE WAS SLIPPING INTO THIS CONDO BUILDING.

Thornton has now spoken out about the ordeal, telling KTVI-TV that her neighbor didn’t have an electronic key fob and forced his way inside.

She said she had the front door cracked to let her dog use the bathroom when Toles approached and tried to get into the building.

Thornton claims she was only following the condo board’s instructions to not allow strangers inside when she repeatedly asked whether he lived there.

‘I simply asked if he lived there because the direction from the association is… that if you don’t know the person, you don’t let them in,’ she said.

Thornton said she told Toles she couldn’t let him in and asked if he had a security key fob.

‘It’s the only indicator any resident has that they live in the building and he wouldn’t answer me. He would not show me one,’ she said.

In the video, Toles can be heard saying: ‘You’re blocking me into my building, it’s my building as well, so can you just get out of my way. I live here and your blocking my way. I’ve already buzzed in.’

Thornton, who says she’s been getting death threats since the video went viral, has denied she is racist.

‘That’s false and heartbreaking. Those are words that cut deep,’ she said of the claims she is racist.

I stopped any quick reaction to these incidents.
For some reason, it’s become a common Meme or theme to depict
the appearance of white women mistreating ‘innocent’ black people. Someone is promoting this way of thinking.

Too many are jumping on the bandwagon without analyzing for themselves. Notice, it’s rarely done in reverse, with Black people mistreating ‘innocent whites. It’s all stupid.
This is just another way the libs hope to set one race against the other. Fomenting dissent is the phrase.

So the rules don’t apply to him. That sounds an awful lot like privilege.

We in America used to laugh at those in the Middle East, threatening ‘Death To America!’ or Death for Blasphemy!! over the slightest provocation. Now it’s becoming more common in this country; issuing Fatwas, American Style. Usually over some political difference. Usually over someone sitting on their high horse of morality and ‘feeling aggrieved’.
We best be careful about what displays of anger are being tolerated or encouraged.

After Toles opened his front door with a key, Thornton could be heard saying: 'As a record, I just want to say hi, what is your name?'

Police responded about 30 minutes later after being called by Thornton but they didn't cite anyone.

Being that he unlocked the door to his own apartment, it appears that he must have had a key.

Now, why did Miss. Thronton call the police?

i'm thinking she will have a good lawsuit against her company, if this turns out to be true:

hornton's employer, property management company Tribeca-STL, says it found the interaction 'disturbing' and terminated her employment for racial profiling.

Her claim, unrefuted by anybody, is that the man didn't have the key to get through the main gate. That isn't "racial profiling", they have zero evidence she would have let a white person through without a key.

All they have is a possibly selectively edited video from the guy who is complaining.

Meanwhile, her claim is that he physically pushed her to get past a locked door that he did not have a key for.

I presume that the apartment complex has a system for handling people who lose their outdoor key, and it doesn't involve trying to push past others who just opened the door.

If her claim holds up she could sue her employer.

BTW, the first one to bring up race is the racist.

A better description would be that a tennant/owner saw someone they did not know trying to “tailgate” into the building and followed building policy.

Race doesn’t enter into it.

“So the rules don’t apply to him. That sounds an awful lot like privilege.”

The rules are that he has an apartment in the building, and therefore, he has the privilege to be in the building.

That’s all that matters.

She needs to get a good lawyer and sue for her job back. People who care about truth, decency, and fighting reverse racism need to support her. If she must branch out on her own, she needs to be supported and be called on to buy and sell property for Conservative minded people.

She might have called police before he showed he had a key, or because she was mad that he physically pushed her out of the way.

He seems to have not had the outside lock, or if he did, he refused to use it or show it to her.

I can’t imagine that if I walked up to my own place, and didn’t have my front key, that I would be confrontational with someone when trying to get them to let them in. I Know the conversation would include showing them my id, and my house key, and asking if they would mind escorting me up to my room to prove I live there.

But, this person seems to be well-trained in how to use his color to get his way with white women, in the sense that the new social order is that if a white woman does anything to stop a black man, it is the white woman who will be castigated for it.

NBC Nightly News has an "evil" white on "innocent" black story almost every night.

If she let him and something happened, she would have been fired.

She said she had the front door cracked to let her dog use the bathroom...

If doggie is so well trained he uses the bathroom, why not the one in her own unit?

Where did you get the idea that he did not have a key to access the building?

He has no obligation to show a key to a stranger.

She handled it poorly.

1. Go all the way out the door with your dog. Make sure the door latches behind you. That way, you're not in a position to have to decide.

2. Never assume the role of security for the building. It's not your job. If it's that dangerous, the building owners should have hired guards.
