Qatari Actor Abdulaziz Jassim Passes Away

Doha, October 14 (QNA) - Famous Qatari actor Abdul Aziz Jassim died on Sunday in Bangkok after suffering from illness, at the age of 61 years. Abdulaziz Jassim was one of the pillars of Qatari and Gulf theatre. He started acting in 1977 with Al Sadd theater and then joined forces with Ghanem Al Sulaiti to develop a comedy duet, which performed successfully for many years. He wrote and acted "Deira Ezz" in November, his last play, with a group of actors from the Qatari theatre. Jassim had a very successful career that spanned Qatari theatre, radio and television. He also participated in many Gulf productions, which were engraved in the memory of the audience. (QNA)
