Back End Developer (Perl / LAMP)



Hale, Cheshire (Office based)



£40,000-£45,000



Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Back End Developer for a leading international software house worth over £300m in the UK. The office is based in Hale, near major transport links just outside of Manchester and they are looking for a Senior candidate experienced with coding using Perl who will integrate successfully into their expanding development team.



Your job role will be developing and maintaining the Perl-based search for our clients web-based products by use of XML and CGI modules for the front end.



Key Requirements:



At least 5 years experience working with Perl delivered by multi-server Linux and Apache environment



At least 1 years experience in front end development with Javascript, PHP and MySQL



A working knowledge of CGI module development in PHP to improve extensibility of the application and update on Javascript front-end



Able to work individually and as part of the development team to deliver web based products to the customer base



Ability to build and deliver work to specification and within agreed deadlines



Creative approach to enhance and improve the look and feel of existing products / services



Contribute towards business success suggesting improvements where appropriate.
