INCIDENTS

A Bucyrus man reported another vehicle struck his vehicle at an unknown location. 8:32 a.m

Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1100 block of W. Mansfield Street. 8:46 a.m. 

Officers investigated a report of vandalism to merchandise at Walmart. 9:34 a.m. 

Officers assisted a disabled motorist at Hill and Tiffin streets.10:40 a.m.

Officers investigated a hit skip accident in the 900 block of Prospect Street. 11:01 a.m. 

A purple and white 18-speed Huffy bike was picked up from the Hopley and Rogers Street area. 11:47 a.m. 

A parking citation was issued in the 1400 block of E. Southern Avenue. 11:49 a.m.

Officers assisted with a vehicle lockout in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield Street. 1:11 p.m.

A false alarm was received in the 1500 block of Oakridge Drive. 1:40 p.m.

Officers responded with EMS personnel for a disorderly juvenile at Bucyrus Elementary School.2:50 p.m. 

A report of a sign blown into the roadway at Plymouth and Lane Street was received. The sign had already been moved when officers arrived. 3:08 p.m.

Officers attempted to serve paperwork for Wayne County Children’s Services to a subject on Cleland Street. 3:38 p.m. 

Officer checked on an unresponsive vehicle occupant at East Pointe Plaza. The subject was revived from suspected overdose and was arrested on a charge of physical control.  4:50 p.m.

Officers checked the welfare of a subject in the 1700 block of Whetstone Street. 5:24 p.m. 

Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle in the 100 block of E. Mary Street. 6:43 p.m.

A domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Earl Street was investigated. 8:42 p.m. 

An alarm in the 900 block of W. Mansfield Street was investigated.11:47 p.m.

Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 500 block of W. Mary Street. 11:52 p.m. 

ARRESTS

Officers responded to a crash in the 2000 block of Isaac Beal Road. The driver was arrested on an OVI charge and was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for bond or court.10:05 p.m. 

Saturday, Sept. 22

INCIDENTS

Officers checked a building with open doors in the 200 block of N. Walnut Street. 12:41 a.m. 

Officers assisted EMS in the 400 block of E. Charles Street at a possible overdose.1:18 a.m.

A resident in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer Street reported someone knocking on her window.1:58 a.m.

A Beverly Drive resident reported her cat had been shot. 5:25 a.m.

A report of a building with an open door in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street was investigated. 6:13 a.m.

A false alarm in the 500 block of Martin Avenue was investigated. 8:01 a.m.

A barking dog complaint was investigated in the 200 block of Wayne Avenue. 9:44 a.m. 

Officers delivered a message to a subject in the 1400 block of Cullen Avenue for Logan County Sheriff Office. 10:19 a.m.

Officers attempted to deliver a message to a subject in the 800 block of Cleland Street for Wayne County. 3:18 p.m.

A parking complaint in the 100 block of Fisher Street was investigated. 3:41 p.m.

A juvenile in the area of Waterford Glen reported being assaulted by another juvenile she knows. 3:48 p.m.

The railroad was notified of gate crossings down on Hopley and Woodlawn Avenue with no train around. 4:17 p.m.

Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Little Caesars. 8:22 p.m.

Officers checked a residence in the 2300 block of Stetzer Road for a possible prowler. 8:26 p.m. 

A verbal traffic warning was issued in the area of Walnut and Mansfield Street. 9:36 p.m.

Officers assisted EMS personnel at a medical alarm in the 1600 block of Marion Road. 9:36 p.m. 

A traffic citation was issued in the area of Marion and Kilbourne Drive. 9:55 p.m.

A parking citation was issued in the E. Charles Street area. 11:23 p.m.   

ARRESTS

A 15-year-boy and 17-year-old boy were arrested on a curfew violation charge. They were released to a parent and will be contacted by Juvenile Court with a court date. 3:20 a.m. 

Sunday, Sept. 23

INCIDENTS

Officers on patrol broke up an altercation behind the Horseshoe Bar. 12:27 a.m.

A traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Avenue and Charles Street. 12:59 a.m. 

A traffic warning was given in the area of S. Sandusky Avenue and Warren Street. 1:43 a.m.

A traffic warning was issued in the area of Washington Square. 2:04 a.m.

A disturbance was investigated in the 500 block of S. Spring Street. 8:36 a.m.

Officers assisted with a funeral escort. 10:33 a.m.

Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 800 block of Arrowhead Drive. 11:37 a.m.

A disturbance was investigated in the 500 block of S. Walnut Street. 11:52 a.m.

A report of a vandalism was taken in the 400 block of Union Street 1:12 p.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 1500 block of Linwood Drive. 1:18 p.m.

Officers assisted with a vehicle lock out in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue. 1:27 p.m.

A disturbance in the 400 block of N. Sandusky was investigated. A larceny suspect from a week earlier had reportedly returned to an establishment. 1:40 p.m.

A counterfeit bill was turned in to the Police Department. 2:10 p.m. 

A report of juveniles littering was made in the 500 block of S. Sandusky Avenue The kids cleaned up their mess.3:22 p.m.

A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1000 block of N. Sandusky Avenue. 4:12 p.m.

A report of a dog attacking another dog was made in the 800 block of Woodale Street. 4:26 p.m.

Officers attempted to serve a warrant. 5:25 p.m.

A report of a possible intoxicated driver was made in the 400 block of E. Mansfield Street. 6:23 p.m.

A two-vehicle wreck was investigated at Sandusky and Beal Avenue. No injuries were reported and a citation was issued. 6:34 p.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 600 block of Kaler Avenue. 7:05 p.m.

A report of juveniles playing in the street was reported on Reid Street. 7:50 p.m.

A disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Wilbur Street. 8:38 p.m.

A welfare check was requested in the 500 block of S. Spring Street. 9:19 p.m.

A written warning was issued in the 1500 block of N. Sandusky Avenue. 9:37 p.m.

ARRESTS

A 24-year-old man was arrested in the 100 block of W. Mansfield Street on a Crawford County warrant. He was transported to Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court. 7:46 p.m. 

Monday, Sept. 24

INCIDENTS

A report of a disturbance involving a man waving a gun around was investigated in the 100 block of W. Mary Street. An individual ran from the area. The caller was anonymous and no complaint was made. 12:09 a.m.

Officers checked on a suspicious male in the 200 block of E. Mansfield Street..5:50 a.m.

A report of a barking dog in the area of Spring and Rensselaer Street was investigated. 6:05 a.m.
