Officers assisted a motorist with a vehicle lockout in the 1700 block of Hopley Ave. 7:53 a.m. 

Officers spoke to a man at the Police Department about a civil issue. 9:10 a.m.

Officers conducted a welfare check on a woman in the 1200 block of Farmview. 10:02 a.m.

Officers spoke to a Bucyrus man about trespassing in the 200 block of W. Mansfield St. 10:36 a.m.

A report of a car broken into overnight in the 1300 block of Farmview was taken. 10:55 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of vandalism in the Woodbine Apartment area where a window was broken. 11:51 a.m.

A report of a black 2009 Chrysler Town and Country van stolen from the 400 block of N. Sandusky is being investigated. The van’s tag is GUM3662. 1:52 p.m.

Officers assisted Life Support Team in the 1400 block of Cullen Court. 2:18 p.m.

A 911 open line call from the 500 block of Wedgewood Court was investigated and it was a misdial. 2:29 p.m.

A traffic warning was issued in the area of Walnut and Charles Street. 3:27 p.m.

A resident in the 400 block of East Charles Street reported her juvenile daughter receiving unwelcome messages on her phone. The other party involved was contacted and notified about complaint to cease and desist. 3:51 p.m.

A domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of High Street was investigated. It was an argument over custody of the phone. One party involved left the area with the phone. 3:56 p.m.

A traffic citation was issued in the 100 block of N. Lane Street to a driver for a suspended license and a citation was issued to the vehicle owner for wrongful entrustment. 4:31 p.m.

Officers spoke to a parent and younger child at the police department about the disrespectful language he had been using. 5:08 p.m.

Officers checked an open building in the 300 block of S. Sandusky Avenue. 5:15 p.m.

A report of a suspicious subject in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer Street was investigated. It was subjects from a church. 6:37 p.m.

A report of a suspicious male outside Walmart was investigated. It was not anyone that was wanted. 7:44 p.m.

Officers stood by for a civil custody exchange in the 800 block of Grove Avenue. 7:45 p.m.

A resident in the 200 block of W. Mansfield Street reported her residence entered while she was gone and items were stolen. It was a civil issue involving someone who is allowed to stay there and food was reported missing. 7:53 p.m.

Officers checked a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of N. Walnut Street. The parked unoccupied car had an open door. 8:51 p.m.

Officers checked a suspicious vehicle at Lion’s Field. The vehicle left the area. 9:15 p.m.

A verbal traffic warning was given in the Whetstone Plaza area. 11:41 p.m.

A report of a suspicious male in the 300 block of Woodlawn Avenue area was investigated. Officers spoke to a man sitting on the steps of a building and he moved along. 11:50 p.m.

ARRESTS

Officers checked on a report of a man lying in a parking lot. Officers arrested a 57-year-old man on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication in the 800 block of Hopley Avenue. He was being held until sober. 7:34 a.m.

INCIDENTS

A resident in the Grandview Drive area reported hearing noises outside her home. Officers checked the area and everything was found to be all right. 1:23 a.m.

A report of a suspicious person in the Beverly Drive area was investigated. 3:28 a.m.

A report of a loud noise in the Gaius Street area was investigated. Nothing was located. 4:01 a.m.
