Holden, a junior, intercepted two passes and returned one 100 yards for a touchdown in the Timberwolves’ 47-13 win over Mount Rainier on Friday. Holden also had four receptions for 126 yards and a score.
Caleb Koellmer
M. Getchell | Football
Koellmer, a senior, accounted for 358 total yards Friday as he led the Chargers to a 16-0 win over Stanwood, their first Wesco 3A North victory since 2015. The dual-threat quarterback threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 115 yards on 11 carries.
Callie Wright
King’s | Girls Soccer
Wright, a senior, scored four goals and added an assist in the Knights’ 6-1 non-conference win over Sedro-Woolley on Sept. 4.
Emma Leggett
South Whidbey | Volleyball
Leggett, a senior outside hitter, recorded 14 kills and five service aces as the Class 1A Falcons swept 4A Mariner in a non-conference match Sept. 4.
Tanner Olson, Grant Mueller
Everett | Tennis
Olson and Mueller combined for a 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 win at No. 3 doubles to help the Seagulls beat crosstown rival Cascade 4-3 on Sept. 4 in the season-opening meet for both teams.
Riley McDowell
Glacier Peak | Cross Country
McDowell, a senior, turned in the fastest time among the boys at the Sehome Invitational on Saturday in Bellingham. McDowell covered the two-mile course in 10 minutes, 8.19 seconds.
