We already know Telltale likes the idea of the Switch and The Walking Dead together. After all, they've already confirmed The Final Season will be making the Switch. Rather than thrust Switch owners into the tail end of the story with no explanation of what Clementine's been through over the years, though, Telltale confirmed today that the complete first season of her adventures is not only on the way, but the season will be out next week.
The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season will feature the first five original episodes of Telltale's critically acclaimed, fan-favorite series to the Nintendo Switch along with the horror anthology episode 400 Days. The season has been directly ported from the updated collection released last year, bringing the latest version of the games to the Switch. You'll only be able to listen to English voices, but you can follow along with French, German, Spanish, or Italian if your English isn't that great. There's also the option of English subtitles if you want to make sure you don't miss anything.
The season will set you back $24.99, but you can pick it up as soon as August 28 on the Nintendo Switch. The Complete First Season will be available in North America, Australia, and most of Europe when it launches on Tuesday, and is only the first of The Walking Dead's previous seasons to be available. Season two and A New Frontier are also scheduled to launch on the Switch later in 2018 to keep you from getting too lost in The Final Season.
Ahem... ANOTHER *bleep*ING SWITCH PORT.
