From Public Records

1300 block of Silver Lane, Mansfield - A woman called police early Friday morning and said a 53-year-old man was overdosing. When officers arrived, the man was lying on the kitchen floor, covered in ice cubes and water. Nobody else was at the home. Police gave the man two doses of naloxone, then helped an ambulance take the man to the hospital, where six more doses of naloxone were given. The man was too lethargic to give a report, so officers left him in the care of hospital staff.

300 block of North Trimble Road, Mansfield - A man driving a Moritz Concrete vehicle told police Friday morning that an unknown person threw rocks that cracked both the windshield and passenger-side window of the vehicle. Officers photographed the damage and are investigating.

400 block of Stark Street, Mansfield - An 18-year-old woman told officers Friday morning she stopped to picked up her friend, but left her vehicle running while she went inside the home. While inside, she saw "two or three people get into her vehicle and drive off." Police took a report and are investigating.

200 block of West Third Street, Mansfield - A 52-year-old man told officers Friday morning that he let a 54-year-old woman, who is a friend of his, stay at his apartment, but believes she robbed him of "several of his shirts, and some pork chops." He told police she shouldn't have a key, but she might. When the officers asked about damage to his front door, the man said it was old damage that his landlord never repaired. The man didn't want to press charges, but wanted a report to be on file.

Jade Vapor, 518 Park Avenue West, Mansfield - The business owner told police Friday that someone threw a large rock in the front of his store. Since the glass has a double pane, the man said, the window did not completely break. Officers photographed the scene, and said a report would be on file.

200 block of West First Street, Mansfield - Police were dispatched to a possible one-vehicle, injury wreck near West First Street and Blymyer Avenue in Mansfield during the lunch hour Friday afternoon. A woman witness told officers the 63-year-old man driving the vehicle "passed out prior to striking the fence across the street." Police noticed minimal damage to the vehicle and fence. The man's 59-year-old wife told officers the man had heart problems. A doctor told police later in the afternoon the man "had a massive coronary and had passed away."
