AP: Omarosa ‘Treasure Trove’ of Evidence Includes Videotapes of Trump

According to the Associated Press, Omarosa Manigault Newman made video tapes as well as audio tapes while she was employed in the White House as an aide to President Donald Trump. The AP said they have a source “with direct knowledge of the records†who verified that Omarosa “has a stash of video, emails, text messages and other documentation supporting the claims in her tell-all book about her time in the Trump White House.â€

Since it was released on Tuesday the book “Unhinged†has ranked at No. 2 on Amazon.com’s best-seller list. She has been promoting the book nonstop in the media for several weeks and has succeeded in putting the Trump White House on the defensive by slowly releasing new material a little bit at a time.

It is now estimated that she has a total of around 200 recordings of her days in the White house, and she has said that she plans to continue selectively releasing the pieces of evidence to prove that the claims she makes in the book are true.

Omarosa has been unhappy that Trump and his associates have continued to attack her credibility and challenge the claims in her book.

She’s already released several audio recordings of conversations, and now the AP source has said that video clips, texts or email will follow, which is sure to keep the book and its author in the headlines for the foreseeable future. According to that person Omarosa has what they called a multimedia “treasure trove.â€

Earlier this week Omarosa dismissed a threat from Trump’s campaign by telling the AP:

“I will not be silenced. I will not be intimidated. I’m not going to be bullied by Donald Trump.â€

She made those comments several hours after the Trump campaign announced it was filing an arbitration action against her, claiming that she had violated the terms of a signed nondisclosure agreement (NDA). According to the campaign and others familiar with Trump’s NDAs, the document states that she is prohibited from disclosing confidential information that she learned during her employment in the White House.

Omarosa also sat for a separate interview with PBS this week and said: “I have a significant amount, in fact, a treasure trove, of multimedia backup for everything that’s not only in “Unhinged,†but everything that I assert about Donald Trump.â€

Clearly, the former contestant on the TV show “The Apprentice†is not intimidated but seems to be relishing the chance to do battle with Trump and his people in the public eye. So far she seems to be winning the public relations war, and at the same time is making a substantial amount of money.

Omarosa has claimed that Trump officials offered her a job on the campaign with the payments of “hush money†in order to silence her after she was fired from the White House.

She has repeatedly accused Trump of being racist and of using racially derogatory terms. She also said that he is suffering from a mental decline and is mentally unfit to be president.

The White House has attacked Omarosa, saying she is a disgruntled former staffer with credibility issues. Trump has also lashed out at Manigault Newman, calling her a “lowlife,†″wacky and deranged†and a “dog.â€

Her book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, several days ago dismissed the threat of legal action from Trump’s campaign. An attorney from the campaign had written a letter to Simon & Schuster saying that “Unhinged†violated Manigault Newman’s confidentiality agreement. The publisher immediately shot down the claim, however, saying that Omarosa and the publishing company were both doing things “well within their rights.â€
