THORNVILLE - A woman allegedly set fire to her husband's motorcycle late Sunday night after she alleges he admitted that he's still using methamphetamine according law enforcement reports.

The Millersport Fire Department and Fairfield County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home shortly before midnight in the 13000 block of Grove Road at Fairfield Beach.

The 37-year-old woman told deputies she and her 54-year-old husband had been arguing most of the day and that during the argument he'd admitted to her that he'd resumed using methamphetamine.

The woman told officers her husband left after the argument, and she then became upset and wanted to destroy something of his.

She decided to damage the motorcycle by setting it on fire.

As the fire began to spread she tried to put it out, but she was unable to contain it, and called 911.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire.

The woman wasn't arrested or cited.

A copy of the sheriff's office report was sent to the Fairfield County Prosecutor's office for review, and the possibility of filing charges.
