Officers spoke with a subject on station regarding vandalism. 8:50 a.m.

A report of an attempted breaking and entering in the 600 block of Woodlawn Ave was investigated. 9:24 a.m.

A report of a shoplifter at Walmart was unfounded. 9:30 a.m.

Officers investigated a domestic dispute in the 700 block of W. Warren St. 9:55 a.m.

A false alarm was received from the 1400 block of Fairview Ave. 10:54 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a subject dumpster diving in the 100 block of N. Sandusky Ave. 12:20 p.m.

A funeral escort was made for Wise Funeral Home. 12:21 p.m.

A custody issue was reported in the 200 block of Schaber Ave. 12:24 p.m.

An officer was flagged over on Washington Square regarding a prior case. 1:01 p.m.

A minor two-vehicle crash was investigated in the 100 block of Hill St. 2:19 p.m.

A false alarm at the Horseshoe Bar was investigated. 3:11 p.m.  

Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle at Dairy Crest. 4:28 p.m.

A traffic warning was issued in the 1200 block of Teddy Avenue. 4:43 p.m.

Officers assisted a Columbus resident who was stranded in town find a place to stay for the night while waiting for a ride back to Columbus. 4:58 p.m.

Officers assisted a motorist locked out of her vehicle in the 900 block of S. Sandusky Avenue. 5:11 p.m.

Officers investigated a report of a semi driving erratically through town. 5:19 p.

A dog running loose in the area of Hopley and John Street was returned to the owner. 8:27 p.m.

A resident in the 400 block of E. Rensselaer Street reported hearing someone at her back door.  No one was located in the area when officers arrived. 9:28 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 11

A report of a male being assaulted in the 200 block of Inez St. was investigated. 12:14 a.m.

A woman reported being threatened in the 100 block of N. Spring St. 12:15 a.m.

Officers assisted with a residential lock out in the 300 block of W. Mansfield St. 12:26 a.m.

A resident in the 600 block of W. Warren St. reported someone knocking on her door and running off. Officers checked the area and did not locate anyone. 12:50 a.m.  

A report of barking dogs on a roof in the 400 block of W. Warren St. was investigated. 2:02 a.m.

A report of juveniles yelling in the 100 block of Wiley St. was investigated. 2:03 a.m.

Officers investigated a hang-up 911 call in the 600 block of Woodlawn Ave. 3:38 a.m.

A female reported being assaulted while at the Horseshoe Bar. 3:53 a.m.

Officers responded to an alarm in the 1100 block of Isaac-Beal Road 5:07 a.m.

Officers responded to a hit-skip crash in the 100 block of S. Sandusky Ave. The driver was later identified and the matter is under investigation. 5:19 a.m.

Officers located a 16-year-old boy in the 100 block of E. Kilbourne who was reportedly missing out of Richland County. He was found to have a warrant and was turned over to Richland County authorities. 6:51 a.m.

A false alarm was received in the 300 block of S. Poplar St. 6:54 a.m.

Officers investigated a report of a theft in the 600 block of Woodlawn Ave. 8:39 a.m.

A false alarm was received in the 200 block of Woodlawn Ave. 8:56 a.m.

A 40-year-old woman was arrested on charges of drug possession. She was issued a summons and released pending a court appearance. 5:57 p.m.

A report of a possible drunk driver was reported in the 100 block of W. Mansfield St. 6:18 p.m.

A report of a person with an open container was investigated in the 200 block of Norton Way. 6:57 p.m.

A theft report at Bucyrus Plaza was made at the police department. 7:13 p.m.

A false alarm was investigated in the 1500 block of Rosedale Ave. 7:41 p.m.

A report of loud music was made in the 1200 block of Wheeler Ave. 9:20 p.m.

A report of loud music was made in the area of Reid and Fisher St. 9:30 p.m.

A traffic complaint was made in the 1800 block of E. Mansfield St. 9:56 p.m.

A disturbance in the 1200 block of E. Southern Avenue was investigated. 10:03 p.m.

A verbal traffic warning was issued in the 1300 block of E. Mansfield Street. 10:05 p.m.

A traffic citation for driving under suspension was issued in the 1200 block of E. Mansfield Street. 10:08 p.m.

Officers checked on an individual passed out on the ground in the 100 block of N. Spring St. A 38-year-old woman was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. She was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober. 10:33 p.m.

Officer investigated a complaint of threats being made online. An individual was arrested on a charge of aggravated menacing, and was issued a summons to appear in court and released. 10:39 p.m.

A barking dog complaint in the 400 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated. 10:43 p.m.

Officers checked the welfare of a resident in the area of Cullen Avenue and Robinhood Drive. 10:53 p.m.

A report of an unruly juvenile in the 900 block of E. Mansfield Street was investigated. 11:13 p.m.

Officers responded with Bucyrus Fire Department to a report of a large bonfire in the area of Warren and Clark Street. 11:37 p.m.

Officers responded to an unruly juvenile complaint in the 300 block of S. Spring Street. 11:38 p.m.  

Sunday, Aug. 12

Officer helped a motorist with a car alarm malfunctioning in the Waterford Glen area. 12:05 a.m.

 A false alarm at the Moose Lodge was investigated. 12:36 a.m.

Officers responded with EMS personnel to a medical alarm in the 800 block of Melody Lane.3:50 a.m.

Officers checked on a suspicious male in the 200 block of Woodlawn Avenue.4:22 a.m.

A 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were stopped in the 200 block of N. Sandusky Avenue for a curfew violation. They were released to family members pending possible charges through juvenile court.4:48 a.m.

A false alarm at Bucyrus Railcar Repair was investigated.6:14 a.m.

A false alarm was received in the 1300 block of Orchard Lane.9:15 a.m.

Officers found an open door in the 200 block of E. Warren St. The door was secured and the property owner contacted. 9:17 a.m.

Officers assisted with an escort to Wyandot Road from Woodlawn Ave.10:58 a.m.

Officers investigated a disturbance in the 500 block of S. Sandusky. A 28-year-old man was issued a minor misdemeanor citation for disorderly conduct.11:39 a.m.

Officers are investigating three separate complaints of a man exposing himself to women. Incidents were reported at Spring and Euclid, 900 block of Hopley Ave. and the 500 block of Kaler.  All women described the man as having dark hair, wearing a ball cap and red shirt, driving a silver/tan pickup, possibly a Ford F-150, with tinted windows and four doors. The man is asking women for directions, then exposing himself to them as they walk up to his vehicle. If anyone has any further information, please contact the Police Department.12:22 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 13

A welfare check was requested in the 1200 block of Marion Road 12:32 a.m.

Officers assisted Life Support in the 500 block of W. Irving St. 12:54 a.m.

A report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Charlotte St. was investigated. 1:26 a.m.
