The launch of the free event coincides with the opening of new servers for the game. The South American servers bring new players to the game. An update is also planned after the free weekend, delivering a new AI, the Water Devil, to the Louisiana swamps.

Just last month Hunt: Showdown received an update to weapons, skills, and weather. Head to the game’s official Steam page to get more details or try it out this weekend.
