A vehicle crash in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania caused a van to end up on the train tracks and three victims to sustain injuries. On Tuesday morning, around 7:30am, the accident occurred when two vehicles collided in the Kingsessing section of the city. After the vehicle crash, the van involved in the collision crashed through a fence, went over an embankment, and landed in SEPTA’s Elwyn Regional rail tracks. The driver of the van sustained a head injury, and the driver and passenger of the other car that slammed into a pole were transported to the Hahnemann Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Depending on the impact and speed of a motor vehicle crash, injuries resulting from a collision could be severe and could bring potential fatalities as well. Unfortunately, if the impact of the accident is great, it may lead to chain reaction crashes or may push another vehicle into a precarious position further endangering car occupants and pedestrians. Survivors of a serious motor vehicle accident may experience mental trauma and debilitating injuries that prevent them from working.
