Training

Post by Mikejames161 »

Hi all

Looking into providing in house training a workforce things like manual handling and abrasive wheels etc

Can someone with EATs Level 3 qualification/NEBOSH Cert take these in house courses if they complete a manual handling/abrasive wheels qualification?

Thank you in advance

As a rule of thumb, it's purely up to the 'Employer' to prove that staff have received suitable and sufficient training to do their required duties.

If you or someone else has the necessary skills, then why not?

These days, even first aid is so deregulated it's a case of Due Diligence by the employer.

Thank you for your reply.

Ultimately how I assess it is:

EATs Level 3 proves that the trainer is qualified/competent to be able to effectively deliver material including producing lesson plans/presentations etc

If the trainer has the qualification e.g manual handling then he/she understood the material they are to teach.
