Orange County hotel room rates ran 3.9 percent higher year-to-date through May as “No Vacancy” signs became more common, a new report shows.

Rates: Averaged $191.36 per night, up $7.14 in a year or 3.9 percent.

Occupancy: 79.5 percent full, up from 79.3 percent a year earlier.

Performance: One measure of hotel cash flow known as “RevPar” for Orange County increased 4.1 percent from a year earlier.
